Project Synopsis

Produce a champion brand identity to appear alongside Formula 1’s existing portfolio for Frontier’s first venture into sport management.

The logo had to resonate with F1 fans whilst comfortably fitting into the existing F1 brand architecture. Taking inspiration from various racing and tech sources, I designed custom lettering to lean into the predominant 45 degree angles from the F1 logo to feel synergised, long lasting and fresh across yearly iterations.

We played around with the idea of creating a unique ‘M’ that could be used as a short form logo. Taking cues from the sharp bends and corners of racetracks, I designed the character to click into place with the F1 logo.

As part of the large suite of assets I was tasked to create for the brand, I was given the fantastic opportunity to design graphics for an event booth which was set up at F1 races in the 22 season around the world.
